I don't believe diets work. How many times have you been on a diet, only to put the weight back on, and some? I have some experience in this aspect of life, having reduced from 17.5 stone to 12.5 stone and staying at the lower weight for over four years now. It's all about emotions and habits. You can't loose weight unless you are calm. There is a big statement, but one I believe to be true. Most of my work with clients who want to loose weight is dealing with their emotions A low sense of self, lack of confidence, childhood issues, stress and relationships are often at play. We often eat our emotions.

This emotional eating then becomes habitualised into patterns of over-eating or eating 'the wrong food'.
